Built in a garage. Fueled by decades.

We’re Jimmy James the Blue Dog Band, three musicians from Ziegler, Illinois (population: about 1,500). The kind of town where everyone knows your name and your first band.

Michael Webb started drumming and singing back in grade school. Played professionally through the ’70s and ’80s around Southern Illinois, then took a sharp left turn training Thoroughbred horses, later becoming a healing artist, massage therapist, and yoga teacher. Music never left, though. Bhakti yoga, chanting, kirtans. Rhythm just changed clothes.

Fast-forward to 2025.

Michael moves back home after inheriting his parents’ house. Meets his older musician brother, Jimmy James, who needs a place to land. James clears out the garage. Calls his twin brother John. Summer hits. Long practices start. Nobody wants to stop.

James and John? Michael remembers them as preteens, dragging instruments across town and convincing bar owners to let them play, still at it. Still smiling.

Honestly, some things don’t need fixing.

Now we’re booking shows.

And yea we can’t wait to get in front of a crowd.
